Tahini Caramels

Tahini Caramels

serves cooks in difficulty

I’m a big tahini-holic.. but trust me this wasn’t always the case! It’s such a strong unique taste, and for the majority of my life I’ve absolutely loathed it. A year or two ago I ordered a salad that had the most incredible tahini-dressing, that meal was a game-changer for me and I started to use Tahini in my own recipes – loving it more, and more. I know I’m not alone in the tahini love which is why I wanted to share this recipe for Tahini Caramels. Bites of sweet tahini heaven! Whilst with the right ingredients tahini can taste amazing it’s also really wonderful for you too. It’s absolutely bursting with calcium and skin loving omegas. It’s high in protein and helps keep you feeling energised and sustained. The addition of the coconut oil to this recipe makes it a really amazing source of healthy fats – increasing energy levels, focus and giving you amples of beauty benefits! So not only is this recipe super yummy for you tahini addicts, it’s absolutely packed with goodness too!
